Two local life coaches are teaming up to help women transform by offering a safe and welcoming space to inspire personal growth.
For women hoping to take their first step towards accomplishing their goals, the program offers nine sessions that help attendees break the barriers they face.
Laurie Anderson, a retired teacher, academic strategy coach for Saskatchewan Polytechnic and life coach, told northeastNOW the program works by giving women the tools to move forward in their lives.
“Our sessions bring women together in a safe space to relax, have some fun and connect with other women while working on their goals. We are looking forward to being together with other women again.”
The sessions begin on March 1 and run until the end of April at Creekside Orchard Cafe. Anderson said the program offers structure, support and accountability in a group setting to help women reconnect with one another.
“The pandemic took away a lot of interpersonal connections that gave women the support they need.”

Nouvelle Weiman, office manager, farmhand and health and life coach, explains there is no time like the present to prepare for the future.
“We honestly do not know when the next pandemic, crisis or side-winding event will show up, we just don’t know when that will come.”
In the program, they emphasize that we shouldn’t hold on to the past as it can’t be changed, and we shouldn’t be preoccupied with what lies ahead.
“By doing the work now and taking care of our mental health, we can be prepared. We call this setting ourselves up for success.”
Although the pandemic has taken away some social support, Weiman said there is self-discovery to be had amongst the uncertainty.
“If COVID has taught us anything, it’s who we are and who we are not in the midst of a crisis.”
The power of choice is one of the many skills attendees will learn and Weiman explains it is one of the most important.
“When we say yes to ourselves, health changes and to help and support while saying no to things that no longer serve us and are trying to hold us back, that is what we call freedom.”
