A 53-year-old man from the Village of Muenster is facing child pornography charges.
Jason Waldner has been charged with two counts of possessing child pornography, and one count of making child pornography available.
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) said it began the investigation in February of this year, and on March 23rd they searched a home in Muenster.
In a news release, ICE said Waldner was released from custody on numerous conditions until his next court appearance on May 1 at Humboldt Provincial Court.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service.
Its mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
