No votes will be cast in this year’s election in the Resort Village of Tobin Lake as mayor and council have been acclaimed to their positions.
Darren Opp, formerly a councillor, is now mayor, replacing Amy Shipley.
Councillor Duane Lahoda remains in his seat and will be joined by former councillor Bryan Baraniski.
Robert Althouse and Carol Anne Sanders make up the remaining two councillors.
Terry Andrusiak and Colin Irving did not run again either.
The notice of abandonment of poll was posted online by the returning officer on June 24.
