The Songwriters Hall of Fame has announced its nominees for the Class of 2025.
In the Performing Songwriters category the nominees are:

- Dr. Dre, Easy E, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella of N.W.A
- Steve Winwood

To be nominated, a songwriter “with a catalog of notable songs” qualifies for induction 20 years after their “first significant commercial release of a song.”
The Class of 2025 will be announced next year with the ceremony held each June in New York.
Unlike the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, there is no physical Songwriters Hall of Fame.
