Slash, Alex Lifeson of Rush, Nancy Wilson of Heart, Dorothy, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, and Tyler Connelly from Theory of a Deadman are among the artists paying tribute to Canadian power trio Triumph.
Magic Power: All-Star Tribute to Triumph is due out June 6th and it was produced by Mike Clink, best known for his work with Guns n’ Roses, Triumph, Whitesnake and Slash’s last album, Orgy of the Damned.
The album features Bon Jovi guitarist Phil X on the track “Allied Forces.” He briefly was a member of Triumph in the mid-’90s. The core band on the album includes drummers Kenny Aronoff and Tommy Aldridge plus guitarists Bumblefoot, Paul Gilbert and Nita Strauss.
The first single is Sebastian Bach‘s take on “Rock & Roll Machine,” which is on YouTube now.
