Police are currently on scene of an accident on Highway 41 between Meskanaw and Highway 368.
According to the highway hotline, the highway is closed and motorists are being asked to use an alternate route at this time.
There are no further details on how many vehicles are involved or if there are any injuries as a result of the crash.
Snowfall in the northeast has caused unfavorable road conditions and motorists are encouraged to check the highway hotline prior to venturing out on the roads.
