A day filled with activities for the whole family is coming up this Sunday at Stoney Lake Bible Camp.
From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., families are invited to take part in a pontoon boat ride, train rides, bouncy castles, climbing wall, face painting, and more.
Director Jay Leo said family fun day will wrap up the summer season which was very successful at camp.
All camps were cancelled last summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but were able to go ahead this year.
“We were able to run overnight camp and we had 748 campers that were out, and we had a number of rental groups as well,” Leo said. “It was a very busy summer, and it was great to see kids and families out here again.”
A similar family fun day was held last Sunday, and had great feedback according to Leo.
“It is a great way for people who have maybe never been to camp to come see a bit of what it’s about and hopefully get excited to come out next year,” Leo said.
Admission for 12 and up is $10, children six to 11 is $8 and a hot dog is included with admission. Five and under get in for free.
“If you have never been to camp before we would love to give tours to learn what it is all about as well,” Leo said.
Stoney Lake Bible Camp is located near Kipabiskua Regional Park.
