The Melfort RCMP detachment is hoping the community can help them solve a crime.
Back on Jan. 9, the Melfort Post Office had its mail boxes broken into, which resulted in mail being stolen.
Local police said that if anyone in the community is missing any mail or packages, that they should notify them immediately.
Anyone with any additional information can also notify Crime Stoppers anonymously, via their website or by phone at 1-800-222-8477. The Melfort RCMP can be reached at 306-752-6420.
The town’s post office has since shut down their usual after hours on weekdays, as well as all hours on the weekend.
To accomodate they now open a little earlier during the week, starting at 6 a.m.
The post office said they hope this will only be temporary.
