A 60-year-old Melfort-area man has died after a two-vehicle collision just north of the city.
RCMP were called to the scene on Highway 6 just before midnight on Saturday.
According to investigators, a truck heading south collided with a northbound transit van.
The van driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 25-year-old truck driver was taken to hospital.
A collision reconstructionist continues to investigate.
A portion of the highway was closed for several hours after the collision.
