This November marks the 40th anniversary of Don Henley‘s second album, Building the Perfect Beast.
To celebrate the milestone, he’ll release a 40th anniversary two-album edition, remastered from the original analog tapes and pressed on 180-gram vinyl. It comes out on October 4th and will also be available digitally.
The album that gave us “The Boys of Summer,” “All She Wants to Do Is Dance,” “Sunset Grill” and “Not Enough Love in the World” will also include “A Month of Sundays,” making it the complete track, which was only available CD, cassette, and digital versions.
With this announcement comes the release now of the remastered digital version “The Boys of Summer.”
Building the Perfect Beast won the Grammy for Best Rock Vocal Performance, Male for “The Boys of Summer,” and Video of the Year at the 1985 MTV Video Music Awards for “The Boys of Summer.”
